Bead By Expression

While I do not have any formal training or instruction in beading embroidery, I spent a lot of time researching the basic application of thread and bead to cotton. Of course, trying to pick a pattern or a design is always impossible. After some deliberation I found a few simple stencils to get comfortable with the motions and actually had the most fun mixing beads to match our pallet.

The finished piece will be a beaded jewelry box - I will come back and update with the process I developed and the ultimate out come of this piece! Looking forward to making more of these. I received a beautiful jewelry box for my birthday years ago and it is just one of the many pieces that survived the many phases of me. Hoping someone else will look at this piece and covet its sparkly nature.
